Le canevas collectif guidé is a Net art reinterpretation of Olivier Auber's Poietic Generator. The work presents a collective canvas where internet users draw responses to generated word prompts. Through simple terms like "food" or "shelter", the piece explores the concept of Umwelt, how each living being perceives and interprets the world differently.
Participants receive randomly generated animal avatars and contribute to a shared digital space. There is no competition or winning, only collaborative expression. The canvas becomes a visual investigation of subjective perception, revealing how each individual -human or otherwise - constructs meaning uniquely, even when given identical prompts.
Conceived by Rania Daghmoura and developed by software engineer Riadh Daghmoura.
